Phil Berbig

What part do you play?
Adkov Telmig (aka the killer)
Where are you from originally?
Cleveland, OH
Acting... past experiences?
20 years of stand up comedy, 3 years mid 90's The Phil of Lynnette Show (local comedy/interview show in the Twin Cities).
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
Music- www.philberbig.com I am a singer songwriter, it is my real passion. I wrote the song that will play when the credits roll at the end of the movie. I will be at the Acadia Theater July 5th at 7:15 and the Fine Line July 9th at 8 PM.
What is a typical day for you on set?
Typical, hurry up and wait. There is so much to get set up, lighting, angles, actors places, it takes a lot of time. Especially when you have limited staff and funds. We all pitch in and help with most everything.
Your personality compared to your character would  be...
Total opposite of me. Where my character would think nothing of killing someone, I hate the thought of hurting anyone. But the character feels that he has been wronged by people, after two failed marriages, I know the feeling, but I take more of a live and let live, and just move on with your life attitude. It is much healthier.
Any final thoughts?
The people in the cast are really great to be around. Everyone is serious about the over all project. I am really proud and excited to have the chance to work with them.

Dan Quaile

What part do you play?
I play the part of Greg and also Young Adkov in the opening scene.
Where are you from originally?
I was born in Anchorage Alaska but grew up in Northern California and SouthEast Minnesota.
Acting... past experiences?
I jumped into acting last summer after 24 years of stage fright. I decided to get over it to pursue acting as a career after I was unsatisfied with my previous career choice in Sports Medicine (Personal Trainer). It's been just under a year and I've been in 2 plays- one at the Bryant-Lake bowl called Hamluke and There's talk in town with the Lex-Ham community Theatre. I've also been in about a dozen student films and by the end of the summer will have finished filming four feature films..
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
Once I get back from stunt school this fall, I plan to save up for another 8-12 months here in Minnesota before I move to Burbank California to pursue acting as a full time career.
What is a typical day for you on set?
Long hours, a lot of waiting, and when it's time to shoot be prepared to say the same line 20-30 times until the director has what he wants.
Your personality compared to your character would be...
I think I'm a little more reserved than my character is supposed to be.
Any final thoughts?
Independent filmmaking is so much fun... wish I had started sooner.

Crystal Ann Hipple

What part do you play?
I play the part of Jo.
Where are you from originally?
I was born in Massachusetts, but grew up in the midwest.
Acting... past experiences?
I have done a few student films, a couple of short movies, and I have also done a couple of stage plays. I have learned a great deal from everything I have done so far.
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
My dream is to continue to act, ideally in movies.
What is a typical day for you on set?
It has mostly been overnight shoots. Ric usually has some previous footage that we get to look at first, which is awesome. Then we start filming. We normally do lots of angles of the same part of the scene.
Your personality compared to your character would be...
I guess I would say that we are similar. Both the character and I are kind of a girl-next-door, try to be nice to everyone. We try to please other people. Sexy and edgy are left to Jessica.
Any final thoughts?
This has been the best experience. It is amazing to dream of doing something your whole life and then actually get the opportunity to do it. I thank Ric so much for letting me be a part of this project. I also give a big thank you to my husband for being so supportive.

Nicole Blessing

What part do you play?
I play Liz.
Where are you from originally?
I'm originally from Minneapolis, MN.
Acting... past experiences?
I have solid film, TV, and stage experience. I've studied with veteran acting coach Lev Mailer, and honed my improv skills at Minneapolis’ Brave New Workshop. One of my favorite productions was No Refund Theater’s critically acclaimed Kung Fu Hamlet in which I had the role of Ophelia. Some of my credits include: Hostile Frequencies, Doomed To Consume, Code Black, Deathbed (Official Selection for Halloween Horror 13 Day Challenge 2006), Franked But Fine (48 Hour Film Project - Best of Minneapolis grouping), and Door To Door (currently at “On The Lot,” http://films.thelot.com/films/9458). I'm looking forward to upcoming projects including the supernatural thriller Mourne written by Andy Smith. For more info, you can view my website at www.nicoleblessing.com.
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
I would like to do more modeling and commercial work.
What is a typical day for you on set?
The shoots can be kind of grueling since we start at 9pm and have at times gone up to 5am. There's a lot of down time between scenes and I've met a lot of really interesting people. I've taken a few naps on set too, and Cassie's Yorkie, Gypsy "guards" me while I sleep.
Your personality compared to your character would be...
I'm a lot nicer than Liz, and much more scrupulous. Liz wears considerably more makeup than I do. She has a very laissez-faire attitude towards life, although we both study martial arts.
Any final thoughts?
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Stuart G Murphy

What part do you play?
Dixon
Where are you from originally?
Born and raised in New Denver, British Columbia, Canada. Have lived in Twin Cities, Brooklyn, Harlem, Manhattan, Los Angeles and British Virgin Islands.
Acting... past experiences?
Acted in LA for a few years, small roles include, Detective on CSI:NY, The Closer, and Dr. House. Most recently worked for 3 months doing stunts on the new Transformers Movie, out July 3rd.
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
Have roles in 2 upcoming independent features, plus 2 plays. Currently starting up a production company, creating "Film Quality" digital features, music video and experimental shorts. www.livelearnent.com.
What is a typical day for you on set?
Stretch out, a fight scene, get shot a few times, break for lunch, jump off a building, crash a car, grab a snack, jump through a fake window, then maybe a cup of tea before bed.
Your personality compared to your character would be...
"Dixon" is some what of an arrogant snob. Can't say I'd chill with the guy if we met at a party, he'd probably throw a punch at my wise ass comments.
Any final thoughts?
It seems that so much of our society revolves around the "bigger and better" causing many small, independent creative projects to slip through the cracks unnoticed. It seems that those with less always have to come up with the most creative ways of maximizing resources and many times, finding the hidden artist expressions that are buried deep inside all of us. Keep grindin....... ps.. find me on myspace.... www.myspace.com/stuartgmurphy.

Jessica S. Lange

What part do you play?
Rebecca
Where are you from originally?
Blackduck, MN
Acting... past experiences?
Lots of theatre: A Mid Summer Nights Dream, Twelth Night, School House Rock, Rowan and Martin's Laugh In. I have been in plays since I was 8 years old.
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
I am going to college to major in the dramatic arts. There are very few people in this world that know exactly what they want out of life. I know that acting is what I want, and it's my drive and passion that is going to get me there.
What is a typical day for you on set?
A typical day involves a lot of energy drinks from start until finish, but we're all pumped to be there and to start rolling!
Your personality compared to your character would be...
I consider my character to be evil, and like most murders highly intelligent. Rebecca is an extreme woman, and although I consider myself extreme, we're just on completely different levels. I think that we're similar in the fact that we don't give up easily. But overal we are much more different than alike.
Any final thoughts?
It has truely been the people that have made this experience worth while. Our cast and crew is amazing, and I am proud to start my first film with each and every person involved in unholy reunion.

Jarrod Crooks

What part do you play?
I play Scott in the film. Scott used to date Rebecca in high school but he fell hard for Vicky, who was best friends with Rebecca, and is now engaged to Vicky and wants nothing more than to take care of her and have a family. Compared to myself I guess Scott and I share a few common things. I liked to believe I would always be there for my wife and family putting them before myself, but I'm sure I'll mess up every once in a while, after all I'm not a written character so who knows what will happen. I am also the director of photography.
Where are you from originally?
I'm originally from Wausau Wisconsin where I produce my own films which I act in and write, edit and direct.
Acting... past experiences?
I've been doing my own films since the age of 12 and although they weren't that good I can say I've gotten better. I actually have never done a movie I've been 100% satisfied with, I believe I've failed at every movie I've done it's just a matter of failing better with every film.
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
I plan to start working on my next feature this coming spring which include some of the cast from 'Unholy Reunion' such as Shannon McDonough and Dan Quaile. I hope that this film will take off and open more doors for other opportunities.
What is a typical day for you on set?
Everyday on the set is a challenge, even though the script is written and you want to believe you know exactly how everything is going to turn out you never know till everything is put together. It's just one big puzzle and if everything doesn't fit the picture wont be complete.
Any final thoughts?
I can't wait to see this movie complete, I think it will be killer!

Shannon McDonough

What part do you play?
I play the role of Vicky.
Where are you from originally?
I'm originally from Bloomington, MN.
Acting... past experiences?
I got into acting through ballet and tap classes that I was taking practically since I could walk. My first experience on stage in a real production was as a mouse in the Nutcracker when I was 8 or 9. I got into musical theatre my Sophomore year of high school, then into straight plays the year after that and then got into making movies just a year ago. My most recently released film is It Came From Another World! in which I play a melodramatic 1950's housewife. That was a blast. www.icfaw.com is the website.
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
Of course. Who doesn't want to be rich and famous? :) Lol. But seriously, I really love acting and making movies. It's hard work and can be really frustrating at times (like it's 3 am, you're tired, hungry and covered in sticky corn syrup "blood"), but at the same time there's nothing else I'd rather do.
What is a typical day for you on set?
Lots of sitting around. lol.
Your personality compared to your character would be...
My character is a nervous wreck for most of the film. You know there's always the one girl in every horror flick that does nothing but scream and cry and then at some point she falls down and she's done for? Yeah, that's my character. I'm a bit more collected and confident than that. But then I've never had someone try to kill me :).
Any final thoughts?
Just that it's been a great experience and I've enjoyed meeting every single person that's been working so hard to make this an awesome movie. I can't wait to see it finished.

Ric McCloud

What part do you play?
I play the part of Uncle Steve. He's the uncle that still likes to party and be crazy. I also am the writer/director/producer of this film.
Where are you from originally?
I was born and raised in the Twin Cities. I lived in Los Angeles for a few years, but Shakopee Minnesota is my home for now.
Acting... past experiences?
My first experience acting was in the early 90's, as an extra for Dario Argento's "TRAUMA", a horror film shot in the Twin Cities. Although I'm a trained actor, I've never really enjoyed the stage acting experience. Instead I prefer the free-flowing experience of performing stand-up comedy, which I've done professionally for 17 years. When I lived in California I was able to act in several small projects with friends. I also was an extra in HBO's "SIX FEET UNDER" and Stephen Spielberg's "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN".
Something you want to pursue more in the future?
I want to continue to perform as an entertainer, and continue to make films. Also, this fall I will be attending Hamline University's School of Law.
What is a typical day for you on set?
They've mostly been night shoots. I spend most of the day preparing the sets and getting props ready (including the police cars). Once we start shooting, everyone jumps into action. We have been very lucky so far in that we've had great weather, and have mostly stayed on schedule. We haven't had to shut down filming, nor had any huge delays, and the footage we've been getting is fantastic. There are no egos on this film. Everyone is very talented and professional, and that makes it a lot easier.
Your personality compared to your character would be...
I'm much more thoughtful, organized, hard working.
Any final thoughts?
I have had such a great experience working with everyone that I hope to work with them all on future projects. As for any advice: If you think you are a true task-master perfectionist type, try your hand at filmmaking. It's a lot like trying to juggle Jell-O.
